Trailblazer, our high performance web application for managing repair shops, has been updated to take advantage of the Ajax control toolkit released by Microsoft. This makes the application snappier, and more reliable, and gives us coding features that will make it a lot easier to extend in future. The Ajax control Toolkit contains a wealth of controls for building web applications, and we are taking full advantage of them. If you are interested in using this toolkit for your own purposes, take a look at the microsoft site - AjaxControlToolkit

We have added new page style functionality to Trailblazer, so that the whole application is now more consistent in its visual layout, and colour scheme. It is not too difficult to edit the style sheets - simple CSS - so the application can the customised to suit your own company theme quite easily.

We have also started work on new reports, and data extracts - for use in your own reporting systems or accounting packages, if needed. The reports have a PDF, and Excel export feature, so it is really easy to keep snap shots for performance, or accounts. The first reports are Parts Usage over time period, and we will be adding more for service types, trade clients, revenue, and technician performance indicators. We are really excited by the new features we have been adding lately, and we hope you will find them very helpful in running an efficient, and profitable repair centre.
